9 weeks and counting!

Well a lot has been happening since our last post. Colby is now sleeping about a good 5-7 hours from when he first goes to sleep, then every 3 or so from there. It would be much better if I went to bed with him at 8!!

On July 26th I choose to attend a red sox game with my parents and sister, while Brian got to spend time at home with Colby! It was very hard for me to be away from him, but I felt that it was good to get away and do something that I love! I did ok, but I kept calling and texting brian every 30 min or so until he told me to watch the game and try not to think about Colby! Later that night Brian and I went to the drive in to see Transformers 2 and Hangover. Both were great and we enjoyed time together.

On the 28th of July, Brian and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary! We celebrated by going to the Salt Water Grill which is on the water in South Portland! It was a beautiful night and the food was wonderful! Brian had a steak and I had a lobster pasta dish. We also treated ourselves to dessert! My parents had the pleasure of watching Colby!

Also during the week Brian and I put an offer on a house in Standish. The house is a 3 bedroom 1 bath home with an in ground pool on 1.5 acres! We are soo happy and close on the 27th of August! The house is about 20 minutes away from mom and dads and about 30 min from work! Brian and I are so happy to be able to unpack and make a house our own!


On August 3rd I started back at work...Believe it or not I was happy to be back at work. I missed the children and my co-workers. The people that I work with are wonderful! I get along with them great and they are wonderful teachers for Colby. Colby comes to work with me every day and usually Brian picks him up early. He is in the infant room and I am down the hall in other rooms! Colby seems to like day care and his teachers. I feed him once in the morning and afternoon, and in between he has a bottle. On Wednesday Colby went on his first buggy ride! Since he can not wear sunscreen, his teachers bundled him up with blankets! Once he is in the seat he falls fast asleep!!

Also this week was my parents week at camp. Colby and I went up on Saturday for the night and we had a great time! We went shopping at reny's and dipped in the water! The water was alittle too cold for my man!! Brian came up with us later in the week to have one more night on Handcock pond!!
