Brian has recently stopped working at the deli and got back to full time at Lowes. Our partner Aaron took over the deli for Brian. Because of this change Brian and I spend more time together with Colby and are able to have weekends free! It is the first time in the ten years of Brian and I being together that he has had weekends off! We all are doing well and very happy!
Auntie and Shawn took Colby and I to Smiley Hill Farm Labor day weekend for some ice cream and animals! Colby loved feeding the animals and touching the pigs. He did not want to leave. Once we were done checking out the animals we all had an ice cream! Colby had a kiddie cone of strawberry and ate it all!
On the following Tuesday Brian had the day off and I got out at one so we had the afternoon together! We got a riding lawn mower that wasn't working from our neighbor so Brian was determined to fix it and have his own rider! It took him a few hours here and there to get it working, but when he did he took Colby for rides! Colby loves taking rides on the "tractor" and points to it when he wants to go on and says "trat or". He also helped Brian put the bagger on, and he knew exactly what to do when it came to using a wrench!!
After tractor riding, we went apple picking at Randall's Orchard here in Standish. Colby got to pick out his apple that he wanted to eat then he was happy! All he cared about is that he got to eat his apple while sitting in the wagon! He is now eating apples like an adult, skin and all!

When we got home from apple picking, Colby needed a nap! While he was napping, Brian and I made a apple pie! It came out soooo good! Colby is unsure about it, which is ok because it contains a lot of sugar and there is more for us!!
After his hour nap, we set out for our first bike ride as a family. (I know it seems like we should of done this six months ago, but we didn't get around to it) We went around the neighborhood a few times and Colby seemed to enjoy it. Brian and I planned on waiting for Colby to wear his helmet until he got comfortable with the trailer, but he put it on! We are now family bike riders!! All we have to do it get Brody use to the trailer and we will be all set!

On September 10th, Brian, Colby, myself, mom, dad, Erin and Shawn went camping down in NH at a camp ground where Erin and I grew up going to called Glen Ellis! We all had such a blast. Colby was awesome and he loved being outside, helping carry wood, throwing rocks, playing in the water and being dirty! He did take his normal two naps in the tent in the pack n play then went to sleep his normal time (8pm) for the night! Brian and I couldn't ask for more!
This video is snack time when we got home. He had grapes in his bowl first then invented a new way to eat an apple!

Today, September 13th Colby had his 15 month check up with Dr. Hawkins. Everything went well and he was great for the doctor. He ended up having three shots and a finger prick for iron. The nurse then put a band aid on his finger and Colby was not happy! He screamed for the band aid to be off for fifteen minutes, until I gave up and took it off! Colby weighs 22 lbs 8 oz (17%) and is 31 1/2 (50%) long. He seems to have all of Brian's traits when it comes to body height and weigh!!
