Wow, I can't believe that it is September! TIme is going by so fast, but we are enjoying every minute spent with our little man!
This summer as has been busy trying new things and going places that we knew Colby . would love. Our first fun outting, was to Maxwells Strawberry fields. We picked over 7 lbs of strawberries and Colby ate about 2 lbs while picking! We went with my mom, sister, and Gram! We had a lot of fun picking and eating!!
These 2 beautiful girls are my cousin, Krissy's girls, Emma and Sydney! They went picking before us!!

Our next adventure was to around the same area, but with Papa and Grandma Brenda! They came all the way from Georgia to visit with us! We ate at the Lobster Shack and then climbed on rocks! It was a great photo shoot!!
Sparklers were a hit with the little man (I believe the big one too!) He did great holding the end with Brian and not touching the tip b/c it was "HOT"!!
When Grandma and Papa were loading their bikes on the trailer, Colby thought it would load his too. He did such a great job with tying it down!
A big hit this summer was teaching Colby how to fish!! When we arrived at camp on a Thursday, Colby wasn't sure what to do when he was fishing. Over the weekend he practiced and now he can cast, real and pick out his own worm!! He will cast anything that resembles a fishing pole!!
While at camp he saw a bald Eagles nest along with her baby! We got to hear the mother call for her baby and the baby calling back! It was great!
He also went for daily boat rides with his request to go FAST!!! He got to be captin often and help tie down! Colby went on his first water tube ride with Daddy! Pops took it slow so that he wouldn't fall off!
We had friends visiting from California, Alice Ann and Ormand! It took Colby a few minutes to warm up, but once he did, he enjoyed them both!! He now wants to fly on a plane to go to Cali!!!
To end our weekends away, my parents, sister, Shawn, Brian, I and Colby went camping in Glen NH! We spent 3 nights at our site and it was wonderful! We swam in the river and went tubing. Colby got many chances to play on the playground as well! We all had a wonderful experience, and will make it a yearly event!
Because Colby LOVES to go fast, we took him to Beach Ride Speedway to see cars race! There were 4 short 30 lap races that we all enjoyed! When we ask Colby what he wants to do each weekend, he replies with "I go to the races?!"
We all have had a wonderful summer here in Maine. To complete our summer, Brian and I now have a fully potty trained 2 year old! He is an amazing little man that makes us smile and laugh every day! Brian and I are so proud to be his parents!
